The Office of Undergraduate Admissions considers a number of factors when making admissions decisions, including a student’s GPA, SAT and ACT scores, writing sample and references.
George Fox University does not have a minimum grade point average (GPA) requirement for undergraduate admission. However, the vast majority of students admitted enter with a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. The average incoming high school GPA for first-time freshmen is 3.56 (2013-14).
SAT and ACT scores
George Fox University does not have a minimum SAT or ACT score required for undergraduate admission. However, the vast majority of students admitted enter with an SAT score of 1,500 (500 average in each of the three sections of math, reading and writing) or higher and/or a composite ACT score of 20 or higher. The average SAT score and ACT score for incoming freshmen is 1630 and 23, respectively (2013-14).
