Academic Scholarships
Academic scholarships will be awarded in the categories listed below. Click on the category to learn more about the specifics of each subject's competition (Descriptions coming soon). These scholarships are available only to seniors in high school.
Each student may participate in one academic competition and should reflect the student's academic interest. Continuation of the scholarship beyond the sophomore year is contingent on the student pursuing a major or minor in the academic area of their scholarship.
Up to three scholarships may be awarded in each category. It is anticipated that the scholarship committee will award approximately 80 scholarships ranging from $10,000 - $16,000 (distributed over four years). Depending on the results of the examination we may not offer all scholarships.
- 1st place - $16,000 ($4,000 per year)
- 2nd place - $12,800 ($3,200 per year)
- 3rd place - $10,000 ($2,500 per year)
The Competitive Academic Scholarship is automatically renewable for the sophomore year. All award winners must maintain a 2.5 George Fox grade point average and remain in good standing with the university to continue receiving the scholarship beyond the sophomore year.
