The Cinema and Media Communication department welcomes scholarship applicants in the areas of Film and Video Production, Audio Production, Multimedia/Animation and Broadcast Journalism.

If you are invited to compete at Scholarship Competition, you will need to submit the following item to Sarah Gibson at sgibson@georgefox.edu by Friday, January 25th.

Part I – Previous Work
Submit one example of work you helped create that demonstrates your abilities in your area of interest. You will need to provide the YouTube or Vimeo link.
This sample should be no more than five minutes long. You will also need to write a one-paragraph description of the aim of the production, and describe your contribution to the project.

Part II – Future Work
Write a one-page description of a project you’d like to produce during your time at George Fox. This paper should be brought with you to Scholarship Competition.
At Scholarship Competition each invitee will have a short interview with members of the Cinema & Media Communication faculty. Come prepared to discuss your previous experiences, areas of interest, and goals for the future. Interviews will be 5-10 minutes long.
