Love the arts? Join us to learn about how you can pursue your passion at George Fox!

This special visit experience is designed for students interested in participating in the fine arts and/or performing arts. You’ll have a chance to meet with faculty and students from the university's art and design, cinema and media communication, music and theatre programs.

In addition to the Arts Preview Days activities, attendees will also be able to participate in the Friday @ Fox event activities that day, including campus and residence hall tours, admissions counselor visits, etc.


3:30 - 4 p.m. Check-in for students staying overnight on campus
4:15 – 5:30 p.m. Sit in on Symphonic Band rehearsal
5:15 – 7 p.m. Dinner for students
7 – 10 p.m.

Required Visit Details

Note: Blithe Spirit begins at 7:30 p.m. in Wood-Mar Auditorium.

Note: We provide meal tickets to the prospective student and one guest. Additional meal tickets can be purchased at our dining hall for $8.20 each (all-you-can-eat lunch).

Overnight Information

Two weeks notice is required for overnight housing requests. Must be age 16-23 to stay overnight. Check-in for students staying overnight is at 4:00 pm Thursday. Since campus housing is limited to students, here are some suggestions for nearby lodging for parents and guests.

Community Expectation Agreement

I agree to abide by George Fox community expectations and policies, including no alcohol, drugs, or cohabitation for the duration of the visit. I understand that violation could mean immediate dismissal and return home at my own cost.

Medical Treatment Agreement

I hereby consent for medical treatment to be given as may be deemed necessary by a physician in the event of injury, accident, or unexpected illness. I understand that George Fox University will not be held responsible for any financial obligation incurred related to medical treatment. I understand that an attempt shall be made to contact persons at the home residence in such an event. (Signed by a parent or guardian if registrant is under 18, or by registrant if 18 years of age or older.)

Transportation Information

Transportation is available from the Portland airport, train station or bus depot for students traveling from outside the local area without a parent or guardian. One-week notice is required for transportation requests. As soon as you have your travel itinerary, please send it to us to confirm pick-up details.

Spanish Interpretation

Spanish interpretation may be available for part of your visit if needed. Please call 503-554-2249 at least two weeks before your visit to inquire.
