Transportation Information

Transportation is available from the Portland airport, train station or bus depot for students traveling from outside the local area without a parent or guardian. One-week notice is required for transportation requests.

If you request transportation please contact us with your travel itinerary at least a week before your visit to confirm pick up details.

Note: We provide meal tickets to the prospective student and one guest. Additional meal tickets can be purchased at our dining hall for $7 (all you can eat lunch).

Overnight Information

Required Overnight Details

Two weeks notice is required for overnight housing requests. Must be age 16-23 to stay overnight and housing is not available from May - August during summer break. Since campus housing is limited to students, here are some suggestions for nearby lodging for parents and guests.

I agree to abide by George Fox community expectations and policies, including no alcohol, drugs, or cohabitation for the duration of the visit. I understand that violation could mean immediate dismissal and return home at my own cost.

I hereby consent for medical treatment to be given as may be deemed necessary by a physician in the event of injury, accident, or unexpected illness. I understand that George Fox University will not be held responsible for any financial obligation incurred related to medical treatment. I understand that an attempt shall be made to contact persons at the home residence in such an event. (Signed by a parent or guardian if registrant is under 18, or by registrant if 18 years of age or older.)

*Note: Special visit opportunities are available on Monday November 21st and Monday April 2nd. If you request a visit for these dates, you'll be registered for the Monday at Fox event and will receive a confirmation email shortly. Click here for more information.
