I am a born administrator, but when I was young, they just called me "bossy." Now, with some maturity (aka "aging") and perhaps a little wisdom (hopeful thinking), I have had the opportunity to implement efficient business systems in several professional arenas. I also love human beings of all ages, which is helpful, because our department's business systems directly affect lots of people!
I have been at George Fox since 2001 and absolutely love my job. It is a perfect fit for me and I feel blessed to work with this amazing faculty and wonderful students.
BA Business Administration (Minor in Sociology), Western Washington University
What do you teach?
I generally teach "processes" to faculty and students, but could also teach a class on "Surviving Kids Moving 3000 Miles Away," and "How to Tie a Beautiful Bow." You can generally expect me to provide too much information too quickly!
What do you do when you’re not working your magic in the office?
I'm likely hanging out with my husband and kids on the phone, via Skype, or in person. If I’m not hanging out with my family, then you’ll be sure to find me in the garden with my dog, Hubble. I somehow manage to spend a great deal of time in the car, so I’m also quite fond of audiobooks.
