2014-15 Baseball Campaign
To provide excellent facilities for the "team to beat” in Division III college baseball, George Fox has launched an $800,000 fundraising campaign. Chris Mason and Andy Rapacz are serving as co-chairs of the effort. We are proud of our strong baseball tradition, which includes a 2004 national championship, and are making this investment to ensure the program will continue to excel in the future.
Campaign Goal: $800,000
Bridging the Gap: Student Fund
At the heart of the Student Fund is a deeply rooted commitment to connecting Christ and culture. We understand that preparing a student to become impactful in the world requires a well-rounded, personalized educational experience – one that incorporates spiritual formation and intellectual growth. The Student Fund is a powerful means of reaffirming and sustaining George Fox's vision for educating the whole student.
Tuition covers only a portion of the actual cost of educating a George Fox student. Your gifts help meet the operational needs of the university, bridging the gap between the actual cost of a George Fox education and tuition dollars.
Among other things, the Student Fund helps to provide:
- Student scholarships
- Spiritual formation opportunities
- Technology upgrades
- Student services
- Campus improvements and maintenance
- Academic programs
- University-wide opportunities
Annual Goal: $675,000
More than 80 percent of George Fox’s traditional undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid, much of which is provided by generous people like you. Join students on their journeys through giving to:
- Student Fund
- Act Six
- Annual scholarships
- Endowed scholarships
George Fox established the Community Partners program to provide an easy way for the organizations in our own backyard to show their support of the university and our students on an annual basis.
When your organization becomes a Community Partner of George Fox, it is aligned with an outstanding university – one that is proud to be an economic driver of our vibrant community.
Our students, faculty and staff live in Newberg and the surrounding communities. We support local businesses every day, whether it’s shopping for food, eating out, buying insurance, getting a haircut or having our cars repaired.
Just as your organization benefits our community, so does George Fox by offering the many activities – art exhibits, lectures, plays and athletic events – that make our college town a very special place to live in and visit.
