Office of Development

George Fox Evangelical Seminary

  • Seminary Fund
The Seminary Fund addresses needs that go to the heart of the George Fox Evangelical Seminary experience. Gifts to the Seminary Fund support every area of the seminary from faculty development to financial aid and from classroom technology and current library materials. Most gifts to the Seminary Fund support current expenses and help narrow the gap between actual operating costs and what each student pays in tuition.

  • Seminary Student Scholarship Fund
Occasionally, seminary students with tremendous potential endure unusually significant financial hardship in their pursuit of a seminary degree. Friends who give to the Seminary Student Scholarship Fund provide resources that allow the seminary to meet the unique needs of these students.

  • Other Opportunities

    Named Endowed Scholarships
Donors who make a gift or pledge of $25,000 or more may create a named scholarship. The seminary will permanently invest this money with the university's endowed scholarship funds. A percentage of the annual income generated will help support one or more students. Donors may help establish scholarship criteria.

    Named Annual Scholarships
Donors who commit to give at least $1,000 a year for five consecutive years may establish a named scholarship to benefit seminary students. Donors may help establish scholarship criteria.

    Estate and Planned Gifts
Through careful and comprehensive planning donors can make charitable gifts in a way that provides benefit to them, their heirs, and George Fox seminary students. Through George Fox University, the seminary offers estate design services and can work with donors and their professional advisors to customize a plan that meets the objectives of each donor.
