Outright Gifts

Gifts of Cash

Cash gifts are immediately available to the university and are the most common way to give. You can give a one-time cash gift or you can pledge to give on an ongoing monthly basis.

To make a cash gift you may:

Make a gift online -- You may give online by credit/debit card or a one-time electronic check.
Send a check to the development office -- Please make all checks payable to George Fox University.

Set-up an Electronic Funds Transfer -- Simplify your life! Have monthly gifts automatically transferred from your bank account. Please provide a completed EFT Authorization Form and a voided check. If you have any questions, contact Jan Lefebvre, 503-554-2111.

Matching Gifts
Many companies match employee gifts to encourage employees to make charitable contributions.
Find out if you work for a matching company.

Gifts of Real Estate
Gifts of real estate benefit both the donor and the recipient. You may donate real estate and receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the gift. Gifts must meet certain criteria to be accepted by the university.

Gifts In Kind
Gifts in kind can be equipment, books or other noncash items to further the mission or needs of the university. Any asset you donate to George Fox University may be a deduction on your income taxes.
