Lloyd John Ogilvie

Lloyd John Ogilvie (www.drlloydjohnogilvie.com/) served as 61st chaplain of the United States Senate (1995-2001) and as senior pastor of Hollywood Presbyterian Church in California.  He has authored 52 books, including The Bush is Still Burning (The “I-Am” Sayings of Jesus, 1980); Acts of the Holy Spirit (1999); Quiet Moments with God (2000); Intimate Prayer (formerly Conversation with God, 2006); and daily devotional, God’s Best for My Life (1981). His nationally syndicated television and radio broadcast, “Let God Love You,” received several media awards, and he was selected by Baylor University as one of “Twelve Most Effective Preachers in the English-Speaking World.” Lloyd Ogilvie leads “Preaching with Passion” seminars, and the Fuller Theological Seminary has recently established a Lloyd John Ogilvie Preaching Institute and the Lloyd John Ogilvie Chair of Preaching as part of the Brehm Center for Worship, Theology, and the Arts.
