Congregational Discernment Project
"Discerning the Leadership of Christ" is a national pastoral leadership conference sponsored by the "George Fox University Congregational Discernment Project."
Supported by the Lilly Foundation, this Project is designed to help Christian congregations find ways to come to unity around a common sense of Christ's leading--regardless of church polity and organizational structure.
The project has three parts to it: the first involving this conference, the second involving a two-year consultation among a select group of pastors and scholars, and the third involving the publication of findings for the benefit of the larger Christian movement.
The George Fox University Congregational Discernment Project is directed by Paul N. Anderson, Professor of Biblical and Quaker Studies at George Fox University (Newberg, OR 97132; firstname.lastname@example.org).
