About the New Grant Program

Discernment Leadership Initiative Awards

The George Fox University Congregational Discernment Project announces Discernment Leadership Initiative Awards that were made last week to Christian leaders at fifteen sites in the US and Canada. These $1,000 awards will support gathering local groups of church leaders for regular discussions through December, helping pastors and administrators explore how to lead in unity rather than division.

These pastoral, educational, and denominational/organizational leaders will share their approaches to creating local discernment initiatives at the upcoming national pastoral leadership conference to be held at George Fox University (May 31-June 3).
