Plans, initiatives, & programs
Over the past 10 years, George Fox University has begun the difficult task of attempting to better reflect the kingdom of God. We believe this task to be central to who we are as Christ followers. This is why we have dedicated both financial resources and human resources in this endeavor.
In the spring of 2003, the university’s board of trustees approved the Blueprint for Diversity, which provided a road map to becoming a more ethnically and racially diverse community. In the fall of 2008, a newly formed diversity committee was formed to continue the work begun by the Blueprint, specifically to address issues of access and success, campus climate, educational and scholarly mission, and institutional vitality and viability.
