Shannon Stueckle joined the MAT program as a part-time assistant professor in the fall of 2016. She had worked two years prior at George Fox University as a teacher education associate while scoring national EdTPA portfolios.
Shannon has worked at all levels of K-12 education, beginning her teaching experience in Eugene, Oregon, with college-bound history students. She also taught in a middle school humanities program in Gladstone, Oregon, and served as an elementary school counselor in the Portland suburbs, before working as both a middle school and elementary school principal in Newberg.
She graduated from Southern Oregon University with two degrees: a BA in secondary education and a BA in psychology. Her MA is from Lewis & Clark in counseling psychology.
