Library Media Specialization
Library Media specialization courses are a blend of short, intensive class meetings, engaging online classes, and on-site practica. Oregon endorsement summer classes meet at our Newberg campus (affordable housing is available for long-distance students); spring and fall classes are taught mostly online with two Saturday classroom seminars.
Students seeking the Oregon library media endorsement may declare Library Media as a specialization within their Master of Education program or complete the specialization courses as a license-only candidate to be recommended for a Library Media endorsement on their teaching license.

Don't already have your teaching license?
There is an option that enables you to embed preparation for an Initial Teaching License to be a PreK-12 library media specialist or a masters in teaching option that would enable you to be a classroom teacher.
