Information about Your Holds

This page explains registration/confirmation holds for each office and how to resolve them. To see if you have any holds, log into Bruindata, then go to My Data tab and then Personal Information.

Student Financial Warning

Following the payment deadline, this hold indicates that the anticipated payment, based on the Payment Selection Form (PSF), was not received. To resolve this hold: complete and sign a Payment Selection Form
AND
deliver the form and your payment to Student Financial Services.
Student Financial Registration Hold

There is an unresolved financial issue related to the prior term. Until resolved, all registration activity has been suspended (you will not be able to add or drop classes until this is resolved). Make necessary payments for the prior period(s) and coming semester. If you are returning to GFU this semester, please remit this payment in person.
Student Financial Noticeâ??SFS Payment Pending

Something â??financialâ? is needed for the coming year but you are not being held in the confirmation process. Stop by the SFS office during the first month of the semester.
Measles Registration Hold
Health and Counseling
We need information about your measles immunization record as required by Oregon state law. Until this is resolved, all registration activity has been suspended (you will not be able to add or drop classes). Contact the Health and Counseling Center at 503-554-2340.

Financial Aid Warningâ??Submit SFS Missing Documents

We need one or more items required to complete your financial aid file, and/or a missing payment selection form. You will need to confirm in person. Bring to confirmation the missing items as indicated on your last â??Reminder Letter," and if necessary bring a completed and signed Payment Selection Form (PSF).

Your Financial Aid Counselor needs to review your file with you prior to confirmation. Confirmation will be delayed until issues are resolved. Contact your SFS Financial Aid Counselor resolve this issue. Bring all pending documents and payments when you come to the SFS office.

Medical Clearance Required
Registrar's Office
We need documentation from your medical practitioner releasing you to return to school. Until this is resolved, you will not be able to add or drop classes. Provide the appropriate documentation to the Registrar's Office or have your physician e-mail the documentation to registrar@.
Missing Application for Degree Hold
Registrar's Office
You have completed a high number of hours at the university but have not completed an Application for Degree specifying your intended semester of graduation. This information is necessary so we can review your degree audit to determine if there are any corrections that must be made prior to your final semester. Please complete an Application for Degree and return it to the Registrar's Office.
