Returning students can complete Confirmation online (new students will still need to come to campus for Orientation events). If you successfully confirm online, you do not need to come to campus to have your ID card swiped, unless you want to or need to speak with someone in person. Confirmation schedule.

• Online Confirmation will be available via BruinData beginning Monday, August 25, and ending at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 29.
  
  
• To confirm online, login to BruinData and select the "My Data" tab. The Confirmation menu page will display any items, such as financial holds, that must be cleared to allow confirmation.
  
  Once all items are cleared and you access the page you will receive the message, "You just confirmed." New students who have no holds will be told they are ready to complete the process in person on Thursday, August 28.

• Please review and verify that your class schedule is correct. Remember that any schedule changes must be processed by September 3, at 5 p.m. to avoid the schedule change fee [more info].

Reminder: Confirmation (either online or in person) must be completed by 5 p.m. on August 29.  Confirmation processed after 5 p.m. on August 29 will result in a $50 late confirmation fee and the possibility that class registration will be dropped, losing registration priority.
