Founder of Bob's Red Mill Visits Campus

People Before Profit - The Inspiring Story of Bob Moore This semester, Bob Moore of Bob's Red Mill spent a day on campus to interact with students and present a public lecture as part of the School of Business Executive in Residence Day. Moore's visit also included a Q&A session with business students and a classroom visit in which he critiqued students' business plans - certainly a unique opportunity for the university's aspiring entrepreneurs.

Moore is well known not only for the natural food products his company makes, but also for his dedication to his employees. On his 81st birthday, Moore surprised all his employees by giving them total ownership of Bob's Red Mill through an Employee Share Ownership Program (ESOP), a move that made national headlines.
