University home to camps, conferences this summer

More than 33,000 guests are expected to visit the George Fox University campus in Newberg, Ore., this summer, participating in a wide range of activities that include everything from music and sports camps to church conferences and a Special Olympics competition.

The visitors will represent six continents, about 17 countries and at least 20 U.S. states, according to university event services. Among the new events this year will be a patriotic concert, Special Olympics activities, and an International Fundamental Churches of America youth conference featuring keynote speaker Josh McDowell that will draw 400 high school students and youth leaders to campus.

Following is a list of events planned for this summer at George Fox.
