Christmas Concert 2010: 'It Came Upon the Midnight Clear'
George Fox University will host three presentations of its 2010 Christmas Concert, "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear."
Friday and Saturday, Dec. 10-11, 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 12, 2:30 p.m.
Bauman Auditorium
More than 130 student musicians will perform traditional Christmas carols, and each production will feature narration, congregational singing and Scripture reading. Participants will include the university's:
- Concert Choir
- Women’s Chorale
- Handbell Ringers
- Symphonic Band
- Strings
- Chamber Singers
- Brass Quintet
- Early Music Ensemble
- Flute Ensemble
- Horn Ensemble
- Clarinet Ensemble
Pat Vandehey will serve as instrumental director, and Loren Wenz will serve as choral director. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and George Fox alumni, and $6 for students and children.
