Eight is enough: University creates first school advisory boardThe School of Management launched an advisory board this year aimed to help George Fox gain a stronger presence in the Portland business community and beyond. The board’s seven senior business executives and one international scholar will contribute their experience, knowledge, and fund-raising skills. "This board comprises leaders who are successful in business, but also tuned in to the School of Management’s ethos," says Wes Balda, dean of the school. "They are strong leaders who want to do meaningful work and contribute value to their communities and to the world — the same ideal we hold out to our students."http://som.georgefox.edu
