Hoover Academic Building

  • Built in 1976-77; expanded and remodeled in 2006
  • Houses the School of Management as well as the nursing, undergraduate psychology, sociology/social work, and religion departments
  • All George Fox undergraduate students take 10 Bible and religion credits to complete general education credits

Fun Facts:

  • Contains (among other things) a 900-square-foot art gallery, two nursing labs, an observation room, a computer lab, and the largest lecture hall on campus, able to seat 192 students. The average class size, however, is approximately 20 students, and with a student-to-faculty ration of 12:1, students know many of their professors on a first-name basis
  • The added atrium mimics the Ronald D. Gregory Atrium connecting EHS and Wood-Mar
  • Named for U.S. President Herbert Hoover, who attended school here at Friends Pacific Academy
