BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT
We're so excited that you'll be joining the Oregon Explorers Tour. Unlike the days of covered wagons, you'll be travelling by modern transportation. Are you close enough to travel by car? That's terrific! But, you must be aware that we will not be reimbursing your car mileage and/or fuel charges. Is vehicle travel just a bit too far? No worries. We have just the ticket for you...a free airline ticket!
To receive your free air travel, you must book through our exclusive and excellent travel agent, Maureen Roemmick. She's the best and will treat you right. Here are the details:
1st...don't forget to register for the tour by March 18, 2011
2nd...you MUST book air transportation through Maureen by no later than April 1, 2011
3rd...when you book you will be required to give a credit card number (your air ticket will be billed ONLY if you cancel the tour after booking air transportation)
Other details:
- We'll cover round-trip air transportation from your airport to the Portland International Airport only. If you choose to add an extra vacation trip to your ticket, you'll pay the difference.
- Our professional (and comfortable) bus service will depart from the Portland International Airport at 1:00 pm sharp. Don't worry, we'll have our tour host people greeting you at the airport to help you locate the right bus.
- Maureen is aware of these details and our expectations and will help you book a flight that meets our schedule.
- Can't fly on June 19 in order to meet our deadline? You can fly the day before (Saturday, June 18) and we'll still cover your flight, but your incidental expenses will not be covered for that day. Your covered expenses (meals, lodging) will not begin until 1:00 pm on June 19, 2011.
- Hotel options with free shuttle to and from the airport: Best Western Inn at the Meadows, Clarion Hotel Portland Airport, Courtyard by Marriott Portland Airport, Embassy Suites Portland Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Portland Airport, Holiday Inn Portland Airport, Radisson Hotel Portland Airport, Red Lion Portland Airport, Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel, and more. Remember those expenses are on your own.
- Our tour ends on Thursday, June 23. You should plan to book your return ticket for no earlier than 4:30 pm on that date (our bus will arrive at the Portland International Airport by 2:30 pm). Again, if you are extending your trip or heading to another location, you'll pay the cost difference.
