Contemporary Music Center
The Contemporary Music Center is sponsored by the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and is designed for students who feel called to a career in the music industry as performers, executives, or promoters. The principal goal is to help Christians impact the "secular" music industry, although the program would benefit those who are interested in Christian music as well. The program is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Courses include: Faith, Music, and Culture; Inside the Music Industry; and specialized courses in two tracks for performers and music managers.

*The CMC application should only be completed after being informed from the Director of Study Abroad that you are accepted for an off-campus study semester.
Students must be full-time undergraduates with junior or senior status, holding a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply.
Because students remain enrolled at George Fox University while participating at the LAFSC, academic credit is awarded by George Fox. Students will typically take between 15-16 credit hours. Students must see the transfer credit specialist in the Registrars office BEFORE they begin their semester off-campus.
While at CMC, you will live in the Brentwood Apartment complex, located right across the street from the Contemporary Music Center; 10 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from the airport. Each fully furnished apartment features a full kitchen, wireless internet and free access to the fitness center and swimming pool.
The student pays George Fox's standard tuition, room and board, and student fee. (Some programs will have and added additional fee ). Participants continue to receive financial aid, including scholarships, since they are officially George Fox students. Round trip airfare is additional.
