Campus Maps and Directions 

  • Assembly - All graduates are asked to assemble at 1 p.m. in the Wheeler Sports Center for instructions and to form lines.
  • Graduation Announcements - To order graduation announcements, diploma frames or college rings, go to this link or call Jostens at 1-800-854-7464. Announcements take two to three weeks to be shipped once they are ordered.
  • Disablility Services - Parking for disabled persons is available in the lot of the Wheeler Sports Center and in the large lot east of the Wheeler Sports Center. Those unable to climb stairs may enter Miller Gymnasium through the north doors directly off Fulton Street. Call the Office of Academic Affairs (503-554-2140 or 800-765-4369, ext. 2140) or e-mail Lynn Scott at lscott@georgefox.edu by Monday, Dec. 12, if any of your guests require special seating. Because of limited space, reservations may be made only for the disabled individual and a maximum of two additional guests.

  • Parking - Parking for the commencement ceremonies will be in the parking lots of Bauman Auditorium and Le Shana Hall. Both are accessible from Fulton Street.
  • Tickets Tickets are not required. Seating is limited to 10 guests per graduate.
  • Academic Regalia - All students must present their Student ID card to pick up their regalia.

Traditional undergraduates may pick up their regalia at the registrar's office in the Stevens Center (Newberg campus) from Monday, Dec. 5, to Thursday, Dec. 15, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Doctor of Psychology graduates may pick up their regalia from Tammy O'Doherty in the VAC from Monday, Dec. 5, to Thursday, Dec. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Portland Center Students in the adult degree program, counseling programs, MBA program, and seminary masters programs can pick up their regalia at the Portland Center GRAD NIGHT event on Thursday, Dec. 1, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Otherwise, students may pick up their regalia as follows:

Adult degree completion graduates: Regalia for students completing outside their original cohort may pick up their regalia at Sara Kelm's office (Room 176) at the Portland Center from Monday, Dec. 5, to Thursday, Dec. 15, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. or from 4 to 6 p.m.

Counseling graduates may pick up their regalia at the counseling department at the Portland Center North building (second floor) from Monday, Dec. 5, to Thursday, Dec. 15.

Seminary masters graduates may pick up their regalia at the seminary office (Portland Center) from Monday, Dec. 5, to Thursday, Dec. 15.

Seminary doctoral graduates may pick up their regalia from Dee Small just prior to the seminary hooding ceremony on Friday, Dec. 16.

MBA graduates may pick up their regalia at the MBA office (Room 195) at the Portland Center Thursday, Dec. 8, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., and Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 12-14 between 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

MEd and EdD graduates may pick up their regalia from Julie Green in the VAC (Room 193) from Monday, Dec. 5, to Thursday, Dec. 15, between 10 a.m. and noon, or 4 to 5 p.m. or by special arrangement.

  • DVD - The commencement ceremony will be recorded by the George Fox University Media Communication Center. A DVD of commencement will be available for $15. Download this order form and mail in to order DVDs. Orders also may be placed the day of commencement. Allow six to eight weeks for delivery.
  • Graduation Photographs We are pleased to announce that we have hired Jolesch Photography to be our commencement photographers. Students do not need to preorder or request photos before the ceremony. During the ceremony, Jolesch Photography will take a picture of every student, and within two weeks all students will receive a proof in the mail. If you would like to see the images online, feel free to click here for the commencement ceremony.
  • Flowers - Fresh flowers will be available for purchase near the east doors of the Wheeler Sports Center.
