Assembly - For the 2 p.m. commencement ceremony, all graduates are asked to assemble at 1 p.m. in the Wheeler Sports Center for instructions and to form lines.  
  • Graduation Announcements - To order graduation announcements, diploma frames or college rings, go to Jostens.com or call Jostens at 1-800-854-7464. Announcements take two to three weeks to be sent, once they are ordered.

  • Disablility Services - Parking for disabled persons is available in the lot of the Wheeler Sports Center and in the large lot east of the Wheeler Sports Center. Those unable to climb stairs may enter Miller Gymnasium through the north doors directly off Fulton Street.

  • Parking - Parking for the commencement ceremonies will be in the parking lots of Bauman Auditorium and Le Shana Hall. Both are accessible from Fulton Street.

  • Tickets Tickets are not required. Seating is limited to no more than 10 guests.



  • Academic Regalia - All students must present their Student ID card to pick up their regalia.

    Traditional undergraduates and PsyD graduates may pick up their regalia at the registrar's office in the Stevens Center, Newberg campus from Monday, Dec. 3 to Thursday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m.

    School of Professional Studies graduates: Cohorts to receive regalia in their cohort class session - P127, P128, P129, and S43. Regalia for students in P126, P121, and those students completing outside their original cohort may pick up their regalia at Jennifer Overstreet's office (Room 173) at the Portland Center from Monday, Dec. 3, to Thursday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Counseling graduates may pick up their regalia at the Counseling Department at the Portland Center from Monday, Dec. 3, to Thursday, Dec. 13.

    Seminary Masters graduates may pick up their regalia at the Seminary office (Portland Center) from Monday, Dec. 3, to Thursday, Dec. 13.

    Seminary Doctoral graduates may pick up their regalia from Dee Small just prior to the Seminary hooding ceremony on Friday, December 14.

    MBA graduates may pick up their regalia at the MBA office (Room 195) at the Portland Center from Monday, Dec. 3, to Wednesday, Dec. 5, and Thursday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 10, to Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Thursday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    MEd and EdD graduates may pick up their regalia at the registrar's office at the Portland Center located to the left of the front desk from Monday, Dec. 3, to Thursday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

  • DVD - The commencement ceremony will be videotaped by the George Fox University Media Communication Center. A DVD of commencement will be available for $25, or a DVD of commencement may be purchased for $35. Download this order form and mail in to order DVDs. Orders also may be placed the day of commencement. Allow six to eight weeks for delivery.

  • Graduation Photographs We are pleased to announce that we have hired Jolesch Photography to be our commencement photographers. Students do not need to preorder or request photos before the ceremony. During the ceremony Jolesch Photography will take a picture of every student, and within two weeks all students will receive a proof in the mail. If you would like to see the images online, feel free to click here for the commencement ceremony.

  • Flowers - Fresh flowers will be available for purchase near the east doors of the Wheeler Sports Center.
