Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)

The Master of Arts in Teaching program will host a commencement and hooding ceremony on Thursday, May 1. The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium on the Newberg campus. The MAT Action Research Symposium precedes commencement at 4 p.m. in the Villa Academic Complex. 

MAT Graduates and their guests will enjoy a dessert reception following the ceremony. The MAT Community (Portland and Redmond) reception will be held in the foyer of Bauman Auditorium. The MAT Full-time reception will take place in the Greenroom, adjacent to Bauman Auditorium. The MAT at Night reception will be in Ross 140, also adjacent to Bauman Auditorium. 

MAT Full-time graduates will receive their regalia on Tuesday, April 22.

MAT at Night graduates will receive their regalia in class on April 9.

MAT Community graduates may pick up their regalia at the Portland Center Grad Night event on April 9 between 4 and 7 p.m. Those who are unable to attend the Grad Night event will receive their regalia during class on Monday, April 14.

MAT Redmond graduates will receive their regalia during class in mid-April.
