BruinData is a password protected site where faculty access class lists and submit grades.
To log in: In your web browser, type http://bruindata.georgefox.edu in the address field and hit enter. You will then be taken to the Bruin Data login page. Your username should be the first letter of your first name followed by your last name, all as one lowercase word. If you have a very common name, this may be different, so you should call the IT Service Desk if you are unsure (503-554-2569). Your password should be the last four digits of your social security number followed by *gfu, all as one word. Be sure that the "gfu" is not capitalized.
Example:
Name: John Doe
Username: jdoe
Password: 5400*gfu
BruinData Hints
Don't keep your password(s) on a post-it note stuck to your computer monitor
If possible, use Internet Explorer as your web browser when working with BruinData
Load the appropriate academic term
Save any changes you make, especially when entering grades
Log out when finished

Registration Changes
1st week of class, students may add and drop courses online through Wednesday with no penalty (Thursday of first week, $25 registration change fee in effect)
2nd week of class, students must have instructor permission to add courses
3rd through 9th weeks of class, students may withdraw from courses with instructor and advisor approval
10th through 16th weeks of class, students may not make changes to their schedules
Waitlists
Spaces in courses are filed from the waitlist in the order in which the students waitlisted
Instructors may give priority to a student not at the top of the waitlist
Only department chairs may increase enrollment in a course to make room for waitlisted students
