Adjunct Nursing Instructors




George Fox University is seeking applicants with strong clinical skills and who desire to be part of a dynamic Bachelor of Science in Nursing program by supervising sophomore or junior nursing students during their clinical rotation. The School of Nursing at George Fox University invites interested individuals who are enthusiastic about working with an educational community where faculty encourage students to achieve their highest intellectual and personal potential to apply for part time clinical adjunct faculty positions. Successful candidates will be involved in preparing students to successfully function in basic clinical roles. Individuals with teaching experience in Nursing Fundamentals and Medical-Surgical and Nursing are encouraged to apply; however, other areas of teaching specialty will be considered. Responsibilities include supervising students on weekdays during their clinical rotations at selected health care facilities; making weekly assignments; reading and grading written assignments; maintaining positive relationships with clinical agencies.


Master’s of Science in Nursing is preferred, however Bachelor of Science in Nursing will be considered. Current and unencumbered Oregon R. N. license required.
