Social Media Coordinator
VP of Marketing & Communications Committee
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for external communication of ASC; presenting a professional appearance to the student body. They will oversee advertising by means of social media for ASC. This person is responsible for communicating with the student body through various medias, reflecting the brand and aesthetic of ASC.
This person must be very well organized, have accurate typing and proofreading skills, have initiative and creativity to effectively communicate to the student body through social media. Must be pursuing a Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or Design. Willing to have fun.
Two social media positions are available.
Applicants must be full-time students ( minimum of 12 credit hours ) in good academic standing with George Fox University for the duration of the time they hold their position.
— Oversee, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and any other forms of social media
— In charge of promoting and advertising ASC events through social media
— Keep in constant contact with VP of Marketing & Communications + the VP of Activities & Programs to effectively and accurately promote events
— Abide by all GFU community lifestyle standards as outlined in the Student Handbook
Please have one reference form filled out by student leader on campus, one reference form by a peer, and one reference form by a George Fox faculty. If student is a freshman then one reference from a past teacher, mentor, or employer will suffice.
7-10 hours weekly (including nights and weekends)
