9.4 Academic Pursuit Fund Proposal- Austin Film Festival- M. Nakashimada

Proposal: $2250 for four students to travel to Austin, Texas

Discussion:

-       Outcomes

    • We should only pay for either admission or plane tickets
    • This fund should be redefined
    • They should put in detail about their lodging
    • Meet one-on-one with an ASC member

-       Decisions

    • Too much money, not affecting greater good

-       Actions

    • They can re-evaluate, and send a more detailed proposal with airline details

9.5 Academic Pursuit Fund Proposal- 2013 Net Impact Conference- M. Nakashimada

Proposal: $750 for one student to travel to San Jose, CA

    • Small conference; 3,000 people
    • Does not meet all requirements; has not met with President or Vice President

            -Decisions

    • Money doesn’t meet up.

            -Actions

    • Follow up with P or VP
