NEW BUSINESS

17.4 New Club: Clubs: M. Nakashimada

Proposal: Fashion Club becoming a club

Discussion:

-       Outcomes

  • They have everything they need in a proposal

-       Decisions

  • “Proverbs 31 women” doesn’t cultivate a community where anyone can be apart of it

-       Actions

  • Their title is Intercollegiate Fashion Club

17.5 Early Stipend Proposal: Budget: M. Tarpley

Proposal: Brogan Groth receive stipend of $600 from Blue Zone Coordinator early

Discussion:

-       Outcomes

  • Paperwork is filled out

-       Decisions

  • Need to find out the date when he can get paid, if it’d be worth it.

-       Actions

  • He can get paid in time
  • No worry with him not working after receiving stipend

17.6 Presidential: Bruin Grounds: Ju. Vanier

Proposal:  Selling old espresso machine to buy ice machine and new blenders.

Discussion:

            -Outcomes

  • Taking up space out of Bruin Grounds

            -Decisions

  • We’ve been waiting a long time to fix Bruin Grounds
  • We can find a person to fix the machine to get it full functioning, then sell it for more money
  • This brings up a bigger issue of Bruin Grounds

            -Actions

  • We need to hire a new manager
  • $375 for a commercial blender
  • Take money out of Special Projects Fund
