    SENIOR: JOB SEARCH
We see seniors as individuals who can move with confidence into the workforce having laid the groundwork in previous years. It is our hope Career Services will be familiar to them as a useful resource as they launch their careers. They need to do the following:
    • Confirm an occupational choice in more than one field; learn career problem solving
    • Have a cover letter, resume, and portfolio updated and ready to go, having practiced interviewing
    • Participate in any campus interviews scheduled by employment recruiters
    • Develop a list of employers they want to pursue for after college employment
    • Read trade or professional magazines in their field and join a news group on the Internet
    • Complete entrance requirements for grad school
    • Make their network work for them; set out a strategy
    • Report their employment to Career Services, Stevens Center 325, ext. 2330
