The Undergraduate Faculty Council has approved Career Services to supervise department 275 Field Experience upon request. Often times faculty are focused on their current workload and it is difficult to supervise these lower division internship credits. Let Career Services lighten the load. It is important to encourage students to apply their academic coursework under real-life conditions at a company or organization. Let us know how we can help you in this process.
Advise students to take our 1-credit on-line GEED 216 ("Become Workplace Familiar") class. In this course students will be able to seek and search for an appropriate internship site, conduct informational interviews and engage in a professional job shadow.
