The university maintains a calendar of events at georgefox.edu/calendar/. The calendar includes several individual calendars maintained by specific departments. The Office of Marketing and Communications monitors the calendars and works with Event Services to avoid scheduling conflicts.

Master Planning Calendar

The master planning calendar is compiled several months in advance OF EACH ACADEMIC YEAR. To be included on the university master planning calendar, events must be submitted to Sharon Pilon no later than March 1 for the following academic year. A committee representing various departments meets in March to approve these events. Approved events are then posted to the public calendar by the calendar editor for each department.

Posting new events DURING THE CURRENT YEAR

To suggest a new event for the calendar, contact the editor for the specific calendar with all pertinent information. The editor, along with the Office of Marketing and Communications will review and approve or disapprove the event.
