GFU Style Guide

Why a Style Guide?

A style guide is simply a list of the choices that have been made in order to achieve consistency and clarity in an institution's publications. It notes specific rules and usage to be followed by the authors and editors of all publications and documents at the university. Entries are based on (in descending authority).
  • The Associated Press Stylebook and Briefing on Media Law,
  • Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (10th Edition),
  • and The Chicago Manual of Style (14th Edition).
