Services Provided


Disability Services provides certain services for students with disabilities. Upon receipt of a request for services and the appropriate documentation, Disability Services works with you to provide or establish the most suitable and reasonable accommodations or services given the context of a particular class or area of campus. Services that might be provided include:

  • Note takers

  • Scribes

  • Exam accommodations

  • Library assistance

  • Arrangements for priority seating

  • Taped class materials

  • Sign language interpreters

  • Adjustments to nonessential degree requirements

  • Adaptive technology

  • Housing accommodations

  • Handicap parking permits

  • Dietician to assist with meal planning for medical disabilities

  • Accessible classrooms

  • Referrals to on- and off-campus services

  • Programming for support and campus awareness
