When searching for information on the internet, please be critical of the information you find. Here are some questions you might ask yourself:
- Who sponsors this website? ("Joe Blow" from Timbuck-Tu, a drug company, a certified organization)
- Does the information fit with most of your core beliefs?
- Does the information seem to coincide with your basic understanding of the issue?

- This website will help you use the internet more efficiently and with proper criticism. They even suggest how to use the internet for doing research for homework and how to properly cite the information you use
- Use the information that is out there. There is a lot of good mixed in with the not so good, but even the best site can't help you if you don't put the information to practice.
- You may not always be able to help your self, but this information should at least help you to know if you are in need of help and how you can go about receiving that help.
- If you haven't found the information you are looking for contact your Health and Counseling Center, they may be able to help you.
