POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
ONLINE FACILITATOR
Doctor of Ministry

OPENING DATE: April 30, 2008
EMPLOYMENT PERIOD: Half-time, 12 months (10am - 2pm)
START DATE: As Soon As Possible



QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Theologically oriented Masters Degree; 2-3 years of experience in Christian higher education required.  Computer proficiency; including: Microsoft Office, EndNote, and the SecondLife client.  Must also have the ability to work within a course management system environment (Moodle).  Strong detail orientation.  Good teamwork skills.  High level of initiative, motivation, innovation and reliability.  A positive attitude.  Evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with the university’s mission as described on our website.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Orient, facilitate and monitor faculty, staff, and student interaction and progress through the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program.  Participate in and provide support for program-related online synchronous chats and face to face experiences.  Assist with the publication all module syllabi, and assignments, and guiding documents for the DMin program.  Provide administrative support to the DMin program.  Assist in the development and launch of future DMin tracks.  Provide technical assistance to students, advisors, and instructors.  Communicate with DMin students, faculty and advisors concerning all updates and program-related news.  Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION: Pay Range D; Minimum $13,653 - $18,772 ($14.44 - $18.05 per hr.) depending on exp.
