Boise Center QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree strongly preferred. Two – three years professional experience. Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to work independently. High level of initiative. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people. Strong customer service orientation and understanding of needs of adult students. Ability and willingness to travel. Idaho Driver License required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement recruitment strategies for assigned academic programs. In conjunction with other recruiters, provide guidance for Internet recruitment strategy; plan and implement Internet recruitment activities. Establish and foster relationships with influencers in the business/corporate, educational and/or church arenas. Plan and conduct appropriate information meetings. Represent the university as an exhibitor at career fairs, professional conferences and trade shows. Research new venues and assess effectiveness of attended conferences, shows and fairs. Research marketing and develop knowledge of competition regarding assigned academic program. Provide input for publications, advertising and web-site information. Evaluate effectiveness of plan and suggest modifications. Participate in setting recruitment goals and evaluating recruitment strategies and activities. Establish and maintain a dynamic, cooperative relationship with others in areas of assigned program(s). Prepare travel budget proposals, track expenditures and submit appropriate paperwork. Record and track contacts and referrals. Represent the admissions office at various events and campus visits. Other duties as assigned. COMPENSATION: Pay Range E; Minimum $33,535 - $41,919, dep. on exp.
