Open voice mailbox on-campus
- Obtain dial tone; dial - 3590
- Enter your mailbox number followed by #
- Enter your password followed by #
- Hear message status - choose from menu
- Call Voicemail number 503-554-3590
- Enter your mailbox number followed by #
- Enter your password followed by #
- Hear message status - choose from menu
- Open your mailbox
- Press 82 for greeting
- Press 1 for external greeting, 2 for internal greeting, or 3 for temorary greeting. If you want to hear current greeting, press 2
- Press 5 to record. Wait for the tone before you start to speak
- Press # to end the recording
- When you have finished recording, you can play the greeting, record it, delete it, set the expiry date for a temporary greeting, or exit
- To set the expiry date for your temporary greeting, press 9. Enter the month, day, and time, pressing # after each entry. For the current month or day, press # only. Pressing ### sets "no expiry." To exit, press 4
Record your name:
- Open your mailbox
- Press 89 for personal verification
- Press 5 to record name
- Hang up
Personal Verification:
Personal verification records your name and other details such as your title or extension number. Your personal verification is used in your greetings and outgoing messages, in name dialing and in remote notification announcements.
To record a personal verification:- While logged in to Voice Messaging, press 89.
- Press 5 to record. Wait for the tone, then record your name and, if you wish, our title or extension number.
- Press # to end the recording.
- When you have finished recording, you can replay name and re record it if you wish.
Change your password:
- Open your mailbox
- Press 84 for password
- Enter new password
- Enter new password again
Playing your messages
- Open your mailbox
- Press 2 to play the message
- To skip back, press 1
- To skip forward, press 3
- To go to the next message, press 6
- To go to the previous message, press 4
- To delete a message, press 76
2 - play your message
4 - Hear previous message
6 - Move to next message
16 - Delete message
75 - Compose a message (send to multiple mailboxes)
82 - Record a greeting (What callers hear)
84 - Password (Change)

Store number
- Without lifting the handset, press [Auto Dial]
- Dial Number
- Press [Auto Dial] again
Call Number
- Select a free extension or lift the handset
- Press [Auto Dial]. The stored number is dialed automatically
To Display the Auto Dial number:
- Press [Display]
- Press [Auto Dial]. The number is displayed.
- If you want to clear the display, press [Display] again.
Conference calling
- While on a call, press [Conference]. The party is placed on hold and you hear dial tone
- Dial the next number to add to the conference. When call is answered, you may talk privately with the party before they join the conference
- Press [Conference] again to join all callers

Call forwarding
Activate
- Press [Forward]
- Dial extension you wish to forward calls to (for example, 3590 for voicemail)
- Press [Forward] again. A black triangle will display indicating Call Forwarding is active
Cancel
- Press [Forward]. The black triangle turns off
Retrieving a message
- Select a free line or lift the handset
- Press [Message]
- Enter your mailbox number followed by #
- Enter your password followed by #
- Hear message status - choose from menu
Redialing a number just dialed
- Select a free line
- Press same line button again
Transfer a call
- Press [Transfer]. Call is placed on hold and you hear dial tone
- Dial the number you wish to transfer call to - on campus, dial 4 digit extension
- Press [Transfer] again, either when you hear ring tone, or after you talk privately to the person to whom you are transfering the call
Transfer a call directly to a Voicemail Mailbox
- Press [Transfer]. Call is placed on hold and you hear dial tone
- Dial Express Message number 3592
- Enter the Mailbox number followed by #
- Press [Transfer] key again quickly

Program Button
The [Program] key gives access to several parameters through the Display Module Option (not available on all phones). You can adjust the volume of the ringer, buzzer, speaker, and handset. You can also turn key clicking on or off, adjust the display contrast, choose the display language, set the format of the date and time, and turn the call timer on or off.
