Alumni retain their George Fox e-mail address as a permanent e-mail address that NEVER changes. Even if you change jobs or e-mail providers, your free George Fox permanent e-mail forwarding address remains the same. E-mail forwarding redirects messages sent to your George Fox e-mail to the preferred e-mail address of your choice.
Your permanent e-mail address is the same as your George Fox Google E-Mail address. This address has been reserved for you.
2. Can I change the forwarding address?
You can return to MyGFU and change your forwarding e-mail address anytime you want. Just follow the setup instructions. top

- Log in to MyGFU <http://mygfu.georgefox.edu/>. (What if I don’t have a username and password for MyGFU? Contact the Service Desk for assistance.)
- Select the E-mail Forwarding link in the Account Management box.

4. What happens to my e-mail when I graduate from George Fox?
When you graduate or withdraw from George Fox, your George Fox e-mail account is transitioned to a forward-only version. As a former student, you can continue to use your George Fox e-mail address. Just keep a valid forwarding e-mail address entered in MyGFU per the instructions above.
Once your e-mail account is transitioned to a forward-only version, older messages stored there can no longer be retrieved or forwarded. You should receive a system e-mail notifying you of the upcoming closure date before you graduate.
