Mail Services processes incoming and outgoing mail and packages. For addressing guidelines, please see our Address Information page.
How We Process Incoming Mail
- Letters are sorted and placed in each student or employee box
- Packages from all carriers are stored at Mail Services:
- A package notice is placed in the recipient's mailbox
- ID required for pick-up
- Mail requiring signatures is held at Mail Services
- Certified
- Insured
- Registered
- A package notice is placed in the student's or employee's mailbox
- ID required for pickup
How We Process Outgoing Mail
- Bring packages and letters for US Postal Service to North Street Annex - Mail Services
- Cutoff time 2:15 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
- UPS packages may be brought to Mail Services
- Cutoff time 3:15 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
Student Mail
- Stamped letters may also be dropped in slots located in Beebe Residents Hall and the SUB
- Cutoff time is noon (Monday-Friday)

Receiving faxes
- Incoming faxes cost the reciever 25 cents per page
|

Fees for Sending faxes
- Local faxes (503, 971): 25 cents for the entire fax
- Long-distance faxes: $1 for the first page and 50 cents for each additional page
- International faxes: $5 for the first page and $2 for each additional page
- The use of a GFU cover sheet for all outgoing faxes is required
- No charge for the cover sheet unless there is a long message written.
