Course Reserves
The Reserves system at GFU libraries allows students to read required materials for a particular class.
Students:
- Find reserves by COURSE or by INSTRUCTOR
Faculty:
Items that can be placed on reserve include:
- Books (both personal and library-owned)
- Journal articles
- CDs, DVDs and other media
In many instances the library will be able to digitize short articles or documents and make them available through our electronic reserves system. When possible we will link to full text journal articles available through licensed databases.
Request:
To place materials on reserve, fill out the Reserve Request Form and return it with your materials to the Circulation Desk in the Murdock Learning Resource Center, or the Portland Center Library. Please be aware of applicable copyright policies.
Processing:
Please allow a minimum of 48 hours for processing of reserves; longer at the beginning of the semester.
Viewing:
View items on reserve for a particular class by choosing Course Reserves from the top menu bar in Foxtrax, the library's online catalog:
