Reference Services

Reference librarians are members of the university's teaching faculty who specialize in helping people find high-quality information for their assignments or research.

Services include:

  • In-class instruction on how to search databases and get books & journal articles (see reseach guides)
  • Assisting students individually in the library with finding information (reference desk service hours)
  • Selecting materials to add to (or remove from) the library collection
  • Working with faculty to develop assignments involving library research

The best ways to connect with a reference librarian are:

  1. Stop by the library in person during reference desk service hours
