Full text access to Elsevier publications in the Sciences back to 1996. GFU subscribes to the Life Sciences, Health Sciences, and Physical Sciences and Engineering journal packages.
Academic Search Premier
An interdisciplinary database that provides full text articles. This is the only database at GFU that includes full text access to the Journal of Chemical Physics (1 year embargo).
Web of Science
The Web of Science includes the Science Citation Index from 1979 to the present, Index Chemicus and Current Chemical Reactions. The Science Citation Index Expanded provides access to bibliographic information, author abstracts, and cited references from over 6,650 of the world’s leading scholarly science and technology journals covering more than 150 disciplines.

Explore scientific information in journal and patent literature from around the world, including References from more than 10,000 currently published journals and patents from more than 57 patent authorities; important scientific discoveries from the present to the mid-1800s; the latest scientific breakthroughs almost as soon as they are published with references added daily and some patent information as recent as 2 days ago. This database contains bibliographic records from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Library. Coverage for AGRICOLA dates back to 1970 and includes more than 4.1 million citations. The citations are comprised of journal articles, monographs, theses, patents, software, audiovisual materials, and technical reports related to agriculture.
BioOne
BioOne provides integrated access to interrelated journals focused on the biological, ecological and environmental sciences. Coverage begins in 2000.
Biosis
Provides worldwide coverage of research in the biological and biomedical sciences. GFU has coverage from 1991 to 2004.
Birds of North America Online
A comprehensive reference covering the life histories of North American birds. BNA Online contains image and video galleries showing behaviors, habitat, nests, eggs and nestlings, and more. Each online species account contains recordings of that bird's songs and calls, selected from the extensive collection in Cornell's Macaulay Library of Natural Sounds.
Environmental Studies and Policy Collection
A collection of over 700 journals and 6 subject specific reference titles provide robust coverage of environmental issues and policies, including diverse perspectives from the scientific community, governmental policy makers, as well as corporate interests.
GreenFILE
A multidisciplinary database that draws on the connections between the environment and a variety of disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology. The database provides indexing and abstracts for approximately 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records.
