2009-2010 Grading Schedule

These are the submission deadlines for course grades. Please mark these dates on your calendar and consider them when you are planning your syllabi.

Faculty are expected to submit final grades in a timely manner. Final grades must be entered through Peoplesoft, due two weeks after the course end date. This applies to fall, spring, and summer semesters. This policy also applies to courses that do not meet the full length of the semester.

Final grading remains open throughout the semester and closes two weeks after the end of the semester.

Fall Semester
Wed, October 28, 8:00 am-Fri, October 30, 5:00 pm, Mid-semester online grade entry (traditional undergraduate only).
Fri, December 4, 8:00 am, Doctoral dissertation signed approval sheets due.
Fri, January 1, 5:00 pm, Final grade entry deadline.

Spring Semester
Thurs, March 10, 8:00 am-Fri, March 12, 5:00 pm, Mid-semester grade entry (traditional undergraduate only).
Fri, April 16, 5:00 pm, Doctoral dissertation signed approval sheets due.
Fri, May 14, 5:00 pm, Final grade entry deadline.

May Term
Fri, June 4, 5:00 pm, Final grade entry deadline.

Summer Semester
Final grading is available through Peoplesoft throughout summer semester, May 3 - August 27.
Grades are due two weeks after the end of each class. Final grading for summer will close on September 10 at 5 p.m.

Reminder: Our grading system does not contain the grades "A+" and "D-".

Transcripts: End-of-semester transcripts will be available to students 10 calendar days following the date grades are due.
