  Students must complete Spanish 301 & 302 before studying abroad. Students must take at least 16 semester hours at the 300-level or above of classes taught entirely in Spanish in an approved program in a Spanish-speaking country. They may choose to go abroad any semester beginning with their fifth semester through their seventh semester at GFU, having made application to the Global Studies office. *Semester Abroad - Summer program in Costa Rica at Veritas. GFU does not sponsor summer programs, student applies independentaly, but credit will be accepted as transfer credits. This is the only GFU-approved program long enough to earn 16 credits as it starts approximately May 1st.
