Hunan Institute of Science and Technology Transfer Guide

Transfer Guidelines:
  • Courses may transfer in as lower (100-200 level) or upper (300-400 level) division credit based on the level of the equivalent GFU course
  • Courses are transferred with equivalent semester credits (example: 3 Hunan credits = 3 GFU semester credits)
  • Courses with a score of 60% or higher may be transferred to GFU
  • English courses may be accepted if student achieves a TOEFL score of 450 or higher (students are given the TOEFL test when they first arrive at GFU)
Courses Not Accepted for Transfer Credit:
  • Courses with a score of 59% or lower
  • Military Training (930 01011)
  • English courses not supported by a TOEFL score of 450 or higher
  • Computer application courses (College C.S.)
  • Introduction to Mao Ze Dong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory
  • Professional courses
