George Fox University General Education Requirements	Latin American Studies Program Equivalent Courses
Global & Cultural Understanding 6 semester credits required	Latin American History, Contemporary Issues and Perspectives (3 semester credits) Spanish Language Study (6 semester credits) (These Spanish courses are not suitable for a major or minor in Spanish at GFU)

Note:

Any courses not listed above completed during the program will apply toward elective hours in a student's degree program. Such courses may apply toward major requirements with approval of the student's faculty advisor and department chairperson (requires appropriate documentation to be submitted to the Registrar's Office).
