Literature 3 semester credits required	African Liturature (3 semester credits)
Global & Cultural Understanding 6 semester credits required	African Liturature (3 semester credits) African Traditional Religions and Other Religions in Uganda (3 semester credits) East African History from 1800 to Independence (3 semester credits) East African Politics since Independence (3 semester credits) Faith & Action in Ugandan Context (4 semester credits)

Note:

Any courses not listed above completed during the program will apply toward elective hours in a student's degree program. Such courses may apply toward major requirements with approval of the student's faculty advisor and department chairperson (requires appropriate documentation to be submitted to the Registrar's Office).
